HBirthday to a sailor

This is another card I will donate to a local group called Hearts for the Troops.  The organizer, a Navy mom, sends birthday cards to her son's shipmates.  I wish I had time to make more!  This is a Dearie Doll colored digi.  The vertical stripes are Washi tape, the horizontal ones are ribbon, and I used Spellbinder circle dies.

Hi, Dorothy! Loving your little pirate kitty done in patriotic colors! It's a fantastic birthday card, and so pretty with the stripes of printed washi tape. So glad I got to see your critter project showcased at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge. Thanks for supporting us, and we hope to see more of your pretty creations in the future. Please check back to see if you are a winner or our next guest designer. Sending you wishes for a wonderful day!
Smiles,
Donna

Such a creative and fun use of patterned paper. The beautiful coloring on the image color coordinated with the paper, really completes the card. So fun and so inspiring. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
