Vintage light house

I was late with an anniversary greeting - so thought this was appropriate.  I used a lovely vintage light house scene from TLC - great freebie!  The recipients enjoy travel along the Oregon coast - lots of light houses to see!  NEW:  though the image is vintage, I just got it from the TLC FB page.  I also used a gold sprig for the first time.  The circle cuts are Spellbinder dies.

Christmas 2019

I am trying to complete a few more Christmas cards, even as it is time to get them in the mail!  OK, next year I really will start earlier!  Once again I am taking advantage of a colored image by Beccy.  The sentiment is from her same Nativity collection.  The oval die cuts are with Spellbinders.

Some new old items to use

I belong to a local crafter's group.  Our leader some times gets items a family is wanting to give to good homes.  The last time, I scored on several lengths of lace and other trims.  I finally had a chance to use the orange lace and the dragonfly trims.  They were a good match for the Our Daily Bread image ( one i had already colored).  I used Spellbinder circle dies and DP from my stashand I added some  shiny orange gems to the dragonflies.

Happy birthday, Norm

Allsorts challenge
With my eye sight declining, I am more and more relying on pre-colored images.  This one, from Beccy's Place, seemed a good choice for a brother-in-law.  One of his hobbies is making home made ice cream - not quite like these cones, but it may work.  Do you think this works for a masculine card?  I added some dew drops - for dripping ice cream.  There are also button brads and some washi tape.

Transparent Pattern Paper

Here is another example using something different.  This time it is a piece of transparent DP - included in a packet of cs sent by a Wish RAK friend at Splitcoaststampers.  It is probably hard to tell, but the black and white bg pattern is on an acrylic sheet - I mounted it on yellow cs.  To do so, I used double sided tape behind the white circles so it does not show.  The lace is placed on a strip of white, and I added washi tape for the indicated strip on the sketch.  As usual, the tape is also mounted so the various colors do not show through, as well as for stability.  The image is colored with markers.

Black, white, green synpathy

This is for the family of Jeannette - we had visited her and her husband, as we are on the church visitation team.  The scripture is a digital image.  I embossed with Victoria EF (Cuttlebug), and die cut the border with a Spellbinder die - there are embossed flowers not visible on the screen.  Flowers, gems, and a ribbon were added.

Non-Christmas Christmas card

Yes, I know this is not a cardinal.  As far as I know, I do not have any cardinals in my stash of stamps and images - so this works for a non-Christmas image used as a Christmas card, right?  It is an image from ODB (Sing to the Lord) - the sentiment is by computer.  I colored with Prismas, added a glittery snowflake and a Martha Steward border.  If you adjust your screen just so you can see that the DP (DCWV) is tone on tone green.

Piano Teacher?

This is an Art Impressions image - I am sure she is a piano teacher - for the Sassy Studio Labor Day challenge.  She loves her talent!  The bg is a bit of the HB folder and some Paper Studio flowers.  I added glitter, lace and a Rain Drop.

Summer fun on the beach

This Cool Cat is a Hambo digi.  I colored with Prismas, and used Ranger Enamel Accents (white) for the cat - I think you can see a hint of the texture.  I added a scrap of DCWV summer DP, some twine, and a die cut sun (from the CB Olivia alpha set.)  In case you are wondering, I am not sure what that pink liquid could be...

Buggy Birthday

I am trying to catch up on some challenges I have been wanting to do - lots of interruptions today and I feel this got a bit discombobulated!  The image has been in my stash for a long time, and the sentiment is computer generated.  The buggy DP probably came from a DCWV stack.  Also - can you see the lady bug on her hat?

A boy, a dog, and ice cream

I am having to correct the image - I certainly hope this works!
This is such a fun image (High Hopes) - I just do not have much chance to use it as our grandkids are much too old.  I used some brand new tape (Recollecxtions), my old dp, HB folder, and metal clip.  I distressed the edges, and used dp that has a bit of a distressed look.  I am learning how to use the tape.  I tried adhering it to the dark brown - the tape is translucent enough that the brown bg overpowered the design of the tape.  White would probably have been better, but I wanted a bit of a border.  I need to pay more attention to what others are doing.

Mother's Day - for a kitty afficianado

Whew!  I have really been running behind this week, but I think I made it to complete some of my favorite challenges.
I used a Penny Black image from Purrfect Day, and a JustRite Happy Everything greeting.  I used pastel chalk crayons, and tried smoothing the color with brush coloring tools.  If any of you have a better solution, I would be glad to hear it.  The DP is from a Big Lots pack, and the shiny ribbon is Texture Bobbin brand.  I added glitter and Recollections rhinestones for more bling.
