Simple life

By now you have probably seen several of the Art Impressions pop-ups - this guy looks like a lot of our neighbors in our RV resort!  I had some bits of My Minds Eye Dp that fit the theme, and used Kraft for the base..  The inside verse:  "God out me one this earth to accomplish a certain number of things.  Right now I am so far behind I will never die."

New home

This is an image (by the Alley Way) I enjoy using and works well for a "new home" card.  I colored with pastel chalk pencils,  The DP is from a Teresa Collins pad - thought the word "stuff" was appropriate for moving!  The Kraft bg is embossed with a Sizzix brick folder.  The fence is MemoryBox; the grass by Die-Namics; and the key is part of a Garden Gate set by Marianne...The letters are hung from a bit of twine.

Easel #4 - Open

I will be making at least 6 easel cards - similar but not quite the same.  They are for our grandchildren.  (you can see others in previous posts).  The chevron Washi tape marks the top of the inside, and the row of glittery snowflakes provides the "stop" for propping the card open.  Top - Stampabilities;  Kraft cs (mat):  Snowflake EF;  Circle, scallop and flower dies, white lace.

Thank you from Aunt Madge's Garden

With our extremely capricious internet connection this summer I find that I am often running behind and taking short cuts - please excuse the abbreviated info.
I love this image but do not use it often because of the size - here I placed it on a 5.25x 6.5 base.  I tried something new -stamped it on subtly patterned paper, and found a left over strip of dp that nearly matches the image!  I think I like the uncolored look this time.  I also used DP (rust colored dots on green - for the leaf cluster.  I hope the final effect is masculine - hence the leaves rather than flowers.
I am so trying to use "leftovers" _ thought the thank you was a rub on, but it is on a clear sticker - I think a few pages of those items were in a yard sale grab bag.

Stamping on Kraft

I seldom stamp on Kraft cs, so this was en experiment - I am trying to do some new techniques - even though they are kind of small!  My ink does not normally smear, but it did seem to bleed a bit when I used the baby oil to blend the Prismas - so I skipped the blending on the other flowers.  (The color does not show well at all - the lower large flower is orange,)  The image is High Hopes.  The mat behind the image has embossed stripes.  The cord and die cut hello (Cuttkebug) add more texture.  I really like the striped paper - it came in a kind of grab bag - great colors and variety of stripes.

Happy Birthday, Leah

This lovely girl is for our college student granddaughter - hopefully, she is being as studious as the girl in the image LOL!!! This is a new digi image I got from Antique Images.  Kraft and black is a favorite of mine.  I used a cream bg for the image and for the card base  The Kraft is embossed with the Cuttlebug HB folder.

Teacher Thanks

CAS is always a stretch for me, but I try!  This has another feature I do not do well.  I wanted to use the apples from a piece of DP -  I did cut them and "hung" the apples on a twine branch.  There is a tiny bird resting on the branch - possibly waiting for a chance to take a bite of the apple.  (I just got a few of these birds in the mail today, from a friend at Wish RAK, on Splitcoaststampers.  Thank you, Jen.)  The tag and sentiment are Just Rite Fancy Tags, and are popped up on pop dots.  The bg is embossed with a Sizzix Tim Holtz EF - a tree trunk.  This would be a thank you for a teacher.

A kitty for you

This image is a freebie is one of several I got a while ago from sliekjestamps.  Thank You!  I used a LifeStyle crafts EF - the cs I used split in several places while being cut - I went for the rustic look and adhered the split pieces!

Chocolate Lover

Supplies used:
CS, DP - Kraft, DP - two from a pad from Big Lots; Digi - Mildred (Bugaboo), colored with Prismas; Martha Stewart trellis punch, Petaloo flower with crystal;  Dandelion sentiment; chocolate half pearls (Pizzazz Aplent).  Inside, it says:  Never eat more chocolate than you can lift;     I"m not overweight...I'm chocolate enriched  (Bugaboo).
Neglected - This Bugaboo image has been in my computer file for a long time, and I have seldom used this kraft cs.  All of the other items have been in my stash for a while, but not really neglected!
