New stage in life

I am trying to fill in some gaps in the assortment of cards I have available for sale.  Once in a while some one needs to recognize a new job, retirement, etc. with a card of this type.  Here, the inside verse says "As a chapter closes in your life, and a new one starts for you, May your years be filled With all the things You're looking forward to.  ENJOY!  I like the color combo, but I did struggle to find something to work.  I think this does!  I should add - I am probably pretty well known for my frugal ways!  I have had the verse (computer) printed on the base for some time, and it had become a bit smudged on the back - not much, but noticeable.  I solved the problem by cutting a slightly larger piece of the grape cs, and glued the entire base card to the grape piece.  I kind of like the result!  The flourish is from an SU set - sent to me quite a while ago through the WishRAK forum on SCS.  The sentiment is from a new set received from Mark's Finest Papers.  The pumpkin dp is K&Company, and I used the Congratulations ef (CB).

Blue and White Wedding

I usually like to coordinate a wedding card with the colors from the invitation.  However, I needed to add one to my stash, and the blue and white seem sufficiently generic!  I used a very new Swirls EF (LifeStyle Crafts), and some very old DP from my stash - along with Petaloo flowers I have had for some time.  The sentiment is from Verve.  I completed the look with a rhinestone, glitter and sheer ribbon - first try at shrinking the ribbon with a heat gun!  I am not sure why - I have seldom used glitter, and all of a sudden I have several glittery examples.

Green & Purple thank you

This is a new color combo for me, and I liked it so well I made several cards using variations.  I am not at home right now, but I think this is a stamp from SU Garden Collage.  The DP is Recollections.

Happy Anniversary Stacy & Matt

Friends asked me to make a card for their granddaughter and her hubby for their anniversary.  Not sure if this is the final version...  The image is a Changito monkey,. and I used odds and ends of cs.  I printed the sentiment from my coputer.  Flowers are Petaloo.  The cord is black and gold.

For Ron

This is for a friend who will celebrate his birthday on Sunday.  DH and two friends all have birthdays the same day, and all three are avid fishermen - makes the theme pretty easy - except I need to have a variety of cards on hand!  The image is Art Impressions, and the seal is All Night Media - both rather old stamps.  I used the bubble EF, some twine, and a scrap of DP.  I wanted to get the lures to show, so trimmed a corner of that layer to make it fit.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Mojo for April

I just realized I need to send a card to a sister in law.
This floral butterfly is a clear stamp from Joann's.  i stamped with Colorbox Bisque chalk ink and a rose.  I added a bit of lace and a piece of doily from Basic Grey.  The flower and leaves are from a dollar store stem.
I embossed the pink layer with Cuttlebug Victoria EF.
