Pastel Hello
Using several pastel colors is not easy for me, but this lovely DP seems to have the correct ones. I like to use it as a focal point - it is from the DCWV Garden Party pad. I used the Cuttlebug faux stitching forder to "adhere" the lavender strips, and a die cut greeting from the CB Everyday Greeting set. Scraps of cs and ribbon complete the card.

Ready for Showers
At SplitCoastStampers I participate in a fun weekly challenge called TeaPot Tuesdays. In addition to creating cards, we have the option of sending our card to a selected destination - usually to cheer up someone experiencing difficulties. This week's challenge is not yet posted - I will include the link later. However, we may send a second card this week, and this could be my choice.
I used a Stamping Bella image, Belinda Bumbleboots. She is colored with chalk pencils and gel pen highlights. The paper is by Debbie Mumm.
This illustrates the song "Singing in the Rain" - (I fondly recall that and many other musicals): http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/ (My stash items - the ribbon and dp - I have a lot and it is going slowly!)
I selected Marie's pretty card to case: http://theresmagicintheair.blogspot.com/

Inspiration
Here is another inspirational card to show support. The verse is Ippity and the butterfly comes from a set by Unity, stamped with Memento and ColorBox bisque. I added Stickles to the butterfly. The DP is from a pack of double sided tape I purchased a long time ago at Costco, and I used a navy mat.. The ribbon is from my stash, and the tear drop pearls are from Pizzazz aplenty. The lace is from a piece I snatched at a garage sale this morning - 25 cents for about 10 yards. I would have preferred white, but will work with this!
