This is the same sketch as the last card, but a totally different theme!. I have a lot of friends who really like the humorous cards, so I need to make several. This uses a Dearie Doll image (http://freedeariedollsdigistamps.blogspot.com/), and sentiment from Ginger's House http://gingershouse.blogspot.com/) - how true that is! Thanks to both artists for your generosity in giving us freebies! I have had both in my collection for a while, but I think it is the first time I have used them. The DP comes from a new Lily of the Valley pad that I just received as a prize. The washi tape, creamy yellow and red cs, and Cuttlebug swirls EF have been around for a while! I added glitter to make a sparkly duckie.

Young at heart
We are rvers (at this point, summers only) - and we can relate to this! Once again I am using one of the elements from the Art Impressions Pop ups sets - they have stamps with these images but these are pre-printed, pre colored punch outs - complete with sentiments and accessories.
New: AI Pop ups, ; SteamPunk embossing (Darice)
Other: Jewel (shimmery) blue cs; Washi tape; pop dots

Heavenly Bodies (not!)
This is such a fun image from Art Impressions. It is on a card 4.5x6.25. I colored with Prismas, and added glitter for the burning candles and some sequins at the edges.
Use sequins: http://artimpressionsstamps.blogspot.com/2014/06/challenge-138-inspiration-sequin-use.html

You know you're old...
This image is by Gina K, colored with Prismas. I used a Spellbinder Ribbon Buckle die, and Recollections sentiment.
Note: our internet is once again unreliable - if my link is posted later - that is the reason.
Inside: ...when getting lucky means you find your car in the parking lot.

Old Age
I recently discovered a source of digital images I know I will use often. This blog is not meant to promote any product, but I hope no one minds if I let you know about this source. I got this image via the blog createwithtlc.com; it is called Learning from Old Age. I know that my friends will enjoy the humor.
I used shades of lavender and grey; flowers from Petaloo, and vintage lace that came in a box at an estate sale. The DP is Paper Pizazz. The image printed this way, with the lavender strip and shaded image.

Happy Anniversary Dale & Marilyn
More friends will have an anniversary this week. This image is perfect for our age group LOL!!!
The dp is from a large pack of Costco double sided cs. The image from Mo's Digital Pencil is colored with Prismas, and the sentiment is Kolette Hall ($1 stamp). The swirls are part of a die cut. Velvety blue ribbon is by Bobbin. I added some sparkle to the butterfly, the swirls and the sentiment.
I used the layout, including the butterfly and the swirls, as well as the look of the papers, as a case: http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/

Shuffle Slower
I need to have some masculine/"golden oldies" cards available - DH, his twin brother, and a friend celebrate birthdays later this week. DH and his twin will be 80 and the friend is not far behind.
I am also beginning another challenge - create 100 cards in 100 days without adding to our supply stash. I know I could probably do 1000 with what I have, except for card bases and maybe some colored cs for mats. Here is the link for the 100 in 100 challenge: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/blogging-groups-f290/100-cards-projects-100-days-t554358-3.html
I used a GinaK image, watercolored, with some stripes for accents. The corners are from a CB paisley die, and the bg is the CB Script.
The sketch, and the bg I created: http://willowsketchiechallenge.blogspot.com/
Using script: bg: http://www.trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com//
Two pieces of the same stripe: http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/
(I am in an area with extremely poor internet reception, so this is going to be hit or miss all summer!)

Blanche is ready for the beach
Both the image and sentiment are by Art Impressions, colored with Prismas. I used a scallop punch as well as a butterfly punch, a bit of ribbon and tiny rhinestones. Rounded corners were also done with a punch, and the bg is Cuttlebug bubbles.

Humorous senior shopper
These images are SO funny! I have the sentiment but need to learn how to resize it!
I used this sketch: http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com/
Anything goes: http://clearlyistamp.typepad.com/my_weblog/
(By the way, they have a tutorial for using digis - I am going back there soon to see what I can learn.)
I used scraps (the dp and smaller solid purple cs mats) for: http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/
A humorous card: http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/search/label/challenge
This one asks for dark and light - I have very light purple and very dark: http://stampinsistersinchrist.blogspot.com/
The image is a Bugaboo digi. I borrowed the stamp for sentiment and do not know the origin.
Misc. scraps of purple DP -Paper Pizzazz, K&Co, and Deja Views.
I colored with prismas.
