a trio of poinsettias

This is a freebie image from A Day for Daisies, and I was inspired by the photo with challenge #3 at Verve this month.  The challenge at A Day for Daisies calls for herringbone - I know I have something but could not find whatever it is!  So this EF is the best I can do.  I added glitter to the flower centers and the Cheery Lynn Blessings die cut.   The mats for the circles and the ribbon, and the sentiment,  are a shiny eggplant cs. (The black bg is for contrast on the photo and not a part of the card.)
Sketch/inspiration #3:

How beautiful! Those poinsettias are so eyecatching and unique and I love the textured embossing behind.

Beautiful card. I don't think a herringbone EF would look nearly as nice as the one you have chosen. The framing on each flower is just wonderful. So happy you shared this with us at LTSCB for the Say it in Color Challenge. Good luck.

What a great card...I love the crisp embossing and the die-cut sentiment. We are very blessed that you joined us at last week's Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. A brand new Challenge started today so, would love for you to join us again. Leaving you the assurance of God's Word in 1 John 4:9, "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him." Have a great day!
