Magical Masking to create a scene
Today on Splitcoaststampers, Judy, aka StampingQueenJAR, introduced a technique - she said it is an old one, but it is new to me and several others. Basically, ink a strip of masking tape, and use that to ink glossy cs. Well, I did not use glossy, but really did not have a problem with tearing the cs. Here is the link:

Here is the inspiration challenge, with a mountain scene, that inspired me to create a scene with the technique: http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com/
I hope you can also imagine the lake in the center of the scene - for a challenge to have a view of water: http://partytimetuesdays.blogspot.com/
The wings are for this: http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/

I mixed Old Olive and Garden green for the mountains. The water and sky are Not Quite navy and Ballet Blue (all SU.) The butterfly came from a grab bag, and the sentiment is a Recollections set. Sheer ribbon and a green mat were added.
I hope you will give me feedback about this result.
