Thy word is a lamp...

I tried to make a scene for this challenge - honestly, that is probably my least favorite style, as I just do not have a knack for it, but I did give it a try.

I used the sketch here, which I turned: http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

Lots of layers: http://ssdschallenge.blogspot.com/

The inspiration of brown, orange and teal is from: http://chocolatecoffeecards.blogspot.com/

I have had this Rubber Stampede stamp for a long time. I used Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink. I think the DP is from a DCWV stack. The sun is really a flower that is part of the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet set. I used distressed stripes (CB) for the teal layer - for the "water" and "sky". I actually had a bit of ribbon with the right colors!
