Seeing double?

Not exactly a double - but similar.   I do not do this often, but had the supplies out so made another card with this AI gal - not sure of her name!  The visor and top are paper pieced to match the strip.  And this time I remembered to color (Chalk pencil) before the pieces were added - otherwise it is hard to color up to the edge of the added paper.  I used a swirly embossing folder, and finkshed up my scrap of ribbon.

Last lazy days of summer

I have had several requests for more AI cards!  I paper pieced her visor and top; the rest is colered with chalk pencils.  The embossing is Embossalicious.  I am sure she is sipping iced tea.

HB, Granddaughter

I am kind of winding down my card making for a few weeks - just have some other fun plans!  But I do have a few that I need to finish at the last minute.  This is for our granddaughter - she likes her cat she had to leave at home!  I should have her in her Air Force Academy uniform - oh, well, these patriotic colors should do.   The image is a pre-colored one by Dearie Dolls, and I use a lot of scraps to finish the card.

Another hunter

Here is another hunting card for a family member - this for our grandson.  He makes me feel so good as he is a fan of my cards - I think he will appreciate this one!  (More details about the inspiration a couple of posts earlier.)
I split the twine into two strands, and frayed the ends.  Gus is by Bugaboo.  The embossing is LifeStyle crafts.
I am trying to get a few last minute cards completed before having very limited internet and no crafting time for a while!

HB, Hanna - black and cream

Thanks for a simple sketch - I am trying to get cards made for the next few weeks as I will be super involved and not have much computer/crafting time!  I have had this Inkadinkado stamp for a while but have not used it much - I hope you like the result with no coloring - the cream cs is shimmery champagne (Recollections), backed with black; LifeStyle crafts embossing folder

HB to our son who is a hunter

I was fortunate to be a recent winner of some Bugaboo images, and Gus the hunter was one of my choices - so many hunters in our family!  The first one is our son - not much resemblance, however!  But he goes hunting several times each fall.
I need to give credit to Sabrina, Cook22 at SplitCoastStampers for the inspiration she provided with one of her recent cards.  Thanks, my friend.
Image - Bugaboo;  sentiment - the Rubber Cafe;  Misc. beige and brown cs:  LifeStyle Crafts embossing folder; twine.
Notes:  Once again I used my very dull blade to cut the pieces - it worked especially well on the beige cs, to create distressed edges.  And - I have some very thick twine - hard to use on cards.  Today I had a lightbulb moment and figured out I could separate it into 3 strands - much better as it is not so thick under the layers.

Shakin' it all...

...
This birthday gal is from the AI pop up set Birthday Surprise.  You can see she is shaking her way out of the cake - so much so some of the balloons are falling.  The bg (purple) is embossed with the Embossabilities happy birthday folder, and I used white chalk for highlights, though it kind of fades out on the screen.

Another sympathy

Sorry for the poor image - there should not be a shadow on the upper right.  The border and butterfly are purple - the top butterfly is a glittery light purple, not blue.  I am not sure what you see.  I combined two embossing folders from Darice - I just stopped the machine before the whole folder went through - backed it up and that worked fine.  The butterflies are Spellbinders.

Sympathy for Cindy

This is for an unusually sad situation - it goes to a long time SCS friend whose husband died suddenly a few days ago.  The stamp is by Stampabilities, and the embossing folders by Darice.  The cs is silver shimmery cs, and the other is medium grey - though it definitely looks blue on this screen!
(I am tapering off on posts and challenges as I will be without much internet access for a few weeks.)

Shake it off!

I hope you can see my interpretation of the challenge "shake it off".  I think everything is shaking here....  I used the AI pop up die cuts, and layered them  Not sure if you can see, but I slightly off set the layers - to appear like the movement in a cartoon.  I also used dimensional dots to raise the layers.  These gals must be off for some Black Friday shopping, don't you think?

Whoo...

I looked for some sayings to go with this image, and this is the best I could do for kind of a generic one (computer generated).  The digi image is from Paulette at TLC designs - thank you for your generosity.  I added a strip of washi tape, some metal brads, and a ribbon.  I left off the flowers as I intend this is a masculine card.

Thanksgiving

I generally skip Halloween, but it is not too early to think about Thanksgiving - we need to be thankful every day, but I hope people will take time to give special thanks on this special day.  Even though today has been filled with bad news, we remember that there is much for which to give thanks.
