SCS Dare to get Dirty Edna B

This is a digi that I labelled "anonymous" in my file. It has been there a long time and I think that was a digi company. I colored the image with Prismas. I printed a second image and cut out and colored the blossoms to add dimension.

Here is one more entry for the SplitCoastStampers Dare to get Dirty challenge week - Fan Club membership required. I used gold glitter glue for a resist with blue refill ink - mixed with water. I cut an oval frame with my Spellbinder dies to add a bit of dimension and separation. Completed with metallic gold ribbon and a computerized sentiment. The stamp is an oldie from Rubber Stampede.

SCS Dare to Get Dirty (Kiage) with QKR Stampede challenge #255 - ATG/option- humor
This Roller Skating turtle, a digi from QKR Stampede, cracks me up - especially with this QKR Stampede sentiment. We hope you will join us for the weekly Anything Goes challenge - the theme of humor is strictly optional. You may enter up to 3 times before 6 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Aug. 10.
There is a prize for an entry using a QKR or Eureka image, and another prize for any image.
Technique: various shades of blue used for a water color wash to resemble waves, and beiges dusted with glitter glue for a sandy beach. I dusted off several Twinkling H20's to color the turtle.
Blues and greens: Country View
Any: A Bit More Time to Craft
A Bit More Time to Craft Extra
A Perfect Time to Craft

SCS DTGD - JustWriteDesigns
I am still trying to complete each of the challenges for the Dare to get Dirty week at SplitCoastStampers (membership required to participate). I used a water color wash for the background. The tree is from a company called Ann-ticipation and the branch by Hero Arts. I am experimenting to find a simple card for multiples. I am learning it is hard to stamp crisply on watercolor paper.

See my previous posts for more information about the annual Dare To Get Dirty challenges at SplitCoastStampers. You do need to join the Fan Club to participate. This Rubbernecker image is a favorite, but I just do not have many occasions to use it. I backed it with a panel using a technique with water and re-inkers. The image is stamped in Memento Txedo Black and colored with water color pencils and an Aqua pen. I used this panel from DCWV Heritage to resemble old fashioned wallpaper, and of course that tub as well is the fellow in it are vintage!
