Christmas 2019 #1 - L for layers

Usually by now I have a good start on Christmas cards, but this is my first for this year. Thanks, Beccy, for the encouragement.   I found a paper pad at Michael's that I like a lot - Hope and Faith by CraftMart.  You will be seeing s lot of examples from that pad.  The gold layer is from a gift bag, and the sentiment is computer generated.

This is very pretty. I'll have to look for that paper pad at Michaels.

Beautiful and elegant card!! Not that I need more paper, but I agree with Suzanne... I'll be looking for this paper pad!

Good on you for getting started Dorothy, sometimes that's half the battle. I really love your card, what a fabulous colour scheme. The deep green looks absolutely beautiful with the gold. I love the big sentiment panel in the centre, and the addition of the different types of gold ribbon was a great idea and adds lots of texture and interest. Well done!
Cheers,
Beccy
