Oh, deer

I was inspired especially by some of the examples for this week's challenge at the House that Stamps Built, and wanted to see what I could do.  Well, ladies, your positions are not at all in jeopardy as your examples are so much better than any I would do - although I think that IRL this is much more shimmery than on the screen.  Feel free to add any suggestions for improvement.
Method:  aqua pen with several colors of  Twinkling H2O, on shimmery champagne cs (Recollections).  I used masking for the moon and to stamp the deer (mixed results there.)  The deer is an old stamp from Embossing Arts, and I have always felt it is a bit out of proportion - minimized that by making it blend into the bg!)  The bird is a Cheery Lynn die, and the chip board from my collection.  By the way, it is not my intention to slight the design team members of other challenges - you all do a fabulous job, and inspire me a lot!   Thanks one and all.

Awww . . . you're just too sweet! : ) I think you did a fabulous job! A different take on our inspiration photo for sure, but that's the great thing about inspiration; it can take you in so many different directions. Great scene and the way you have used that deer image really makes him look like he belongs there. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.

Dorothy, this is a great interpretation of the inspiration challenge at The House That Stamps Built. The inspiration was a light behind the focal image and you successfully caught it in your card. Well done and love that you played along in the challenge.

Hi Dorothy, I love the softness of your stamping of the deer and trees. I am always challenged by coloring on that shimmery card. and continue to try new mediums to see how they react to the shimmery card. Thanks for all your support of our weekly challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such, we love seeing your creations.
