There are so many people in need of encouragement - this verse does just that. The stamps are ODB - the sentiment from Happy Birthday and image from Faith. I colored with Prismas, and trimmed a bit to fit the layout. I have seen so many gorgeous cards with cut outs - I used a Fiskars punch to achieve this. The embellishments are negative pieces. The bg layer was put through the CB twice (different directions) to leave the smooth area for the sentiment. When ever I do this there seems to be an uneven "seam" - the strips help hide that.

Hi Dorothy,
You are so right in that so many need encouragement these days, and your card is perfect for it. I love how you did your cut outs, and then used the little flowers from it at the bottom. The color choices are fabulous, and your image is colored so sweetly. I can really see the love gone into this card. Thank you so very much for joining us at Twist of Faith, and I hope to see you back often.

Dorothy - you are so right about the world needing encouragement. Aren't we blessed as card makers to be able to be encouragement to our friends and family. Your card is beautiful - love the blue color and how creative that you used your Friskers punch to create part of the sketch. Very pretty card! Thanks for joining us at Twist of Faith. Hope you join us again, again and again...and again...and again.. :)
Blessings,
Zella

Amen to the encouragement! You've chosen and created beautifully...the colours are wonderful and we'd never have known of the hidden seam if you hadn't told us! Thanks for sharing with us at Twist of Faith this week!
hugs and blessings,
Pauline
