QKR Stampede challenge #259 - Anything goes/ option - WIld West

When I think of the Wild West I think of some of the old time western movies - and usually some one is riding toward these reddish peaks - there are so many in AZ that just seem to rise right out of the flats!  For the anything goes weekly challenge at QKR Stampede you have the option of using the theme "Wild West". You may enter up to 3 times by 3 pm EDT Thursday Sept 7.   I have used this QKR Stampede digi image before - Ride 'em Cowboy - but it makes me smile every time I see it!  The Needle Rock image is new to me.  I stamped it once on the white strip, then colored a second image that I cut out.  I placed it on pop dots in front and to the left of the original image. I used a blend of chalk pencils (red, orange, brown) to color the rocks, and Prismas to color the critter.  I also used a bit of chalk to enhance the sentiment.  I added strips of duck tape and a sticker to resemble a bright sun.  The sticker, tape and cs have been in my stash for quite a while.
